Halifax, NS, March 19, 2024 – KorrAI, a tech company at the forefront of delivering solutions to make infrastructure safer, announced that it has joined Guidewire’s Insurtech Vanguards program, a new initiative led by property and casualty (P&C) cloud platform provider, Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE), to help insurers learn about the newest insurtechs and how to best leverage them.

“We are thrilled to join the program and work with Guidewire to expand our reach and mutual value proposition for P&C. By using state-of-the-art technology, we are helping underwriters make better decisions through unique insights into ground subsidence risk, an increasing but until today, poorly managed peril,” said Joaquin Obach, Head of Business Development at KorrAI.

Insurtech Vanguards is a community of select startups and technology providers that are bringing novel solutions to the P&C industry. As part of the program, Guidewire provides strategic guidance to, and advocates for the participating insurtechs, while connecting them with Guidewire’s P&C customers.

“Through strategic guidance and networking, the Insurtech Vanguard program helps catalyze companies, such as KorrAI, to deliver value to insurers through technological innovation. We are excited to welcome them to the program,” said Laura Drabik, Chief Evangelist at Guidewire.

Ground subsidence, usually caused by ground water extraction and aggravated by climate change, is a growing threat for aging infrastructure and expanding urbanization. By harnessing satellite data, KorrAI addresses this peril from a P&C underwriting perspective through its Ground Motion Risk Index.
