Introduction

Today, I am delighted to share some incredible news. KorrAI was selected as one of 13 winners out of 3,500 submissions worldwide. Prior to its global selection, KorrAI was chosen as local North American winner of the Zurich Insurance Innovation Championship.

As Ericson Chan, Group Chief Information & Digital Officer of Zurich, says,"Through collaborating with startups, we continue to source the bold and forward-thinking ideas that are needed to create a real impact for our customers. With this year’s winning initiatives, we continue to push the boundaries of today’s insurance."

Our product, designed to leverage Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) technology, helps insurance companies make better underwriting decisions by providing them with unprecedented visibility into land subsidence risk at a global scale. By translating complex InSAR results into accessible tools, we aim to revolutionize the way subsidence risk is factored to make better underwriting decisions.

This is not just a significant achievement for us at KorrAI, but also marks a pivotal moment for the insurance industry. With our technology, we can help insurers navigate the complex and evolving risk landscape of the 21st century, driven by rapid urbanization, groundwater depletion, and climate change.

As we embrace the next phase of our journey in the four-month accelerator phase with Zurich, we're excited about the opportunities to further refine our product, learn from experts, and closely align with the needs of Zurich's customers and the broader insurance industry.
